Thy Will be Undone (Part 4)

Don’t Fret, Fix Your Mess!

If you feel you’ve made a mess of things, don’t fret! It is easier than you think to get on the right path. First you need to go to God in prayer, openly recognizing and take responsibility for your actions. Secondly, repent to God for going against His will and renounce disobedience in your life. Third, ask that He forgive you and receive forgiveness, which enables you to forgive yourself (that’s important!).

God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent! “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3)

Even if you are not a believer or you have gone astray, He is those things to us all. There will be times when you will not feel His presence but at others, God let’s you know who is on the throne! However, we are his creation and he does love us and want our lives to resemble Him (peace, love, grace and righteous).  Inserting one’s personal will into life’s situations is a step that is not pleasing to God.

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” (Hebrews 6:4-6)
