“Destroyers are come upon all the bare heights in the wilderness; for the sword of Jehovah devoureth from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh hath peace.” (Jeremiah 12:12 ASV)
On July 10, 2017 God gave me a prophetic word, one that I needed to receive in order to be okay with a “movement” many in the church are witnessing amongst popular women in ministry. The irony of where he decided to deliver this word was not unnoticed by me: I was having lunch with a sister in Christ I met at church. A sister the Holy Spirit led me to minister to after she’d been slain in the Spirit. A woman who, like me has walked through a tough year.
About halfway through our time together, I went to the ladies restroom. I was drying my hands, when out of the blue I hear, “I AM raising up a remnant of women right now; they are MY warriors! This is so because this particular generation of women has learned to be warriors due to the amount of abuse and dishonor they’ve overcome.”
I shared it with my lunch companion upon returning to the table. She pondered for a moment and said, ‘yes, I can see that’! We discussed it briefly then had a good chuckle over God speaking to me while I was using the restroom!
