Being Grateful for God’s Orchestration

Once upon a time, home, for me, was found in the eyes and arms of my maternal grandmother. My one true source of love – both in word and deed.

Even as an adult, Grandma’s heartfelt hugs were my safe place. Nothing on earth can or will ever replace what is gone. My earthly “home” is now joined with my heavenly home. And one day all will join as one…

I am so grateful that before my Grandma went home, I built a strong relationship with our Father, with the Lord Jesus Christ; this so I would continue to have a safe place on earth, under the shadow of His magnanimous presence. God’s orchestration of time and place in our lives never ceases to astound me, and for this I am grateful.

Being grateful is an understatement for in Him I have found, I receive, an everlasting love – one that can never die. Instead, such love will accompany me into eternity.

Amen!

“The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.” (Jeremiah 31:3)

“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. (Zephaniah 3:17)
