Here am I! The Photography of S. Louiso

This is the basis of my entire life. And, when I am in the moment – when the urge to capture something around me transpires – it is always The Creator of all things I think of as I’m studying a subject. “Here Am I” is part of the Bible verse Isaiah 6:8 which has greatly impacted my life:
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.””

Through photography, I have long found a place where I can go to be grounded again. Inviting others into this private space of my persona has been a prayerful, much-thought-out journey from which to arrive. I hope you find the beauty and peace I see within each frame, as I find Him in every substance and every place around me.
