Are We Staring at the Gates of Hell or the Gates of Eternity?

I do not often address the tragic world in which we live, mainly because my heart stays broken for all I witness, and addressing it openly causes me distress. My heart breaks for what breaks God’s.
Yet, we stand on this mountain of truth that I think too many deny: we are not promised easy if we stand for and are firm in the Faith, for God, and for salvation through Yeshua/Jesus. The past few weeks in the United States, for those who care, have probably had a lot of people wondering: Are we staring at the gates of hell or the gates of eternity?

As a young girl, I developed several compulsive behaviors, two of which were healed many years ago: chronic obsessive compulsive disorder, which was quite cumbersome, and bulimia. However, the most secret and embarrassing compulsion I experienced was self-pleasuring, which led to escapism and living in a fantasy world that was out of control. This catapulted into the most long-lasting compulsion in attachment to people (especially men), and seeking to be “saved,” but it took me eons to understand what this stemmed from.

Something’s Happening Here

Since last November, I have been working toward a goal. I have just finished Phase 1 of said goal. I received my Certification as a Biblical Counselor.
