After a long, cold, and snowy winter in Upper East Tennessee, signs of life are springing up all around us. The beauty of nature is a needed reminder when life and all it entails has been overly busy for months on end, to stop and breathe. (Although, allergy season also being upon us does not make deep breathing very enjoyable! LOL)
Much has occurred. Divine assignments have either reached completion or an end is visible; uncertainty also looms. All one can do is Trust and keep holding onto faith in The One who is in control while waiting on bated breath for revelation or a full revealing of His plan. As always, doing one’s best not to rush eagerly ahead as not to create unnecessary chaos.
Winter truly was a season of things finding an end.
Spring, too, has reared its head in unkind ways but the forces of nature are often necessary to destroy what is old and decaying so that there is room for what is new. Ironically, just as the Spring biblical feasts remind us to sweep out the sin in our lives, so do the raging ways of nature remind us to get right with the Creator of all things.
