To see the irony in this today
As wave after wave hits the shore
Before a storm
But I sense what’s approaching
That it is new, joyful, different
The flood waters will reveal Your plan
Leave me standing atop a plateau
When they recede
I await heaven on earth
Until then He calms the waves
