Staring Through Bars (Part 5)

My Hood-Oakland, CA Two - 187

Tangible: Capable of being touched; discernible by the touch; material or substantial. Real or actual, rather than imaginary or visionary…

To most people who walk the planet, even some Christians, God is not something tangible. However, for those Believers who have  experienced it, the healing and guiding power of God, through Jesus, is very tangible. It is visible and can be felt, even touched. Sanctification boils down to allowing your sensible side to go the wayside, instead, stepping out in complete faith that He is there to catch you if you fall.

For those whom have experienced complete brokenness and have been picked up off the floor by God, just in the nick of time – they know just how tangible He is. If you are in that place now, I encourage you to consider the alternative to what life looks like for you now, versus a life in the arms of our Heavenly Father and his SON. They love you in grace and mercy, and can deliver you from the darkest of places; the most horrendous pain.

But don’t take my word for it! Below are video testimonies of people who discuss the tangible affects knowing Jesus has had on their lives; people who have walked out of darkness and hopelessness, or who could have gone that route but instead have become God-loving, success stories:

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you may have caught wind of my own testimony, which I’ve dispelled in bits and pieces. However, my true testimony has yet to be shared here, nor am I sure I’ll do so. I am writing a book which will go into full detail of how God took a woman who’d endured  a lifetime (literally) of heartbreak and pain from abuse, abandonment, plus other precarious afflictions, and mended her. How after I handed my life to Christ, I learned the absolute truth about myself/my life and submitted completely to God and I let him have His way with my me and was set free. I now stand before you, practically naked, proclaiming His glory! There is none greater than Jesus – Thank you! He has freed me of so many afflictions I have lost count…sanctified me to the point I no longer even recognize the person I was not quite 5 years ago.

I AM a new creation in Christ: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Taking an honest assessment of yourself, your life, and what it looks like not to others but yourself, can leave your mouth agape; but trust that when you know and can stand looking at the absolute truth, you will be free of the lies of Satan: “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (St. John 8:31,32)

This is the final section of the “Staring Through Bars” series. If you miss any other sections they are all available on the blog.
