Keep Away From Profane, Empty Babblings

A little “insight” into a previous post “Why God May Isolate in Order to Insulate His Children”

This is not the first time The Father has used me as a vessel to state how He perceives those who claim to love Him, and to be walking out His commandments, yet cause nothing but confusion, strife, and division in the Body.
Since being led out of the mainstream Christian church in mid-2019 and thrust into this completely new sect of Believers my heart has continually been heavy-laden because The Father’s heart is heavy. I have known for several years that I was placed in this “community” to be a fly-on-the-wall and a voice they didn’t want to hear or adhere to. Why? Many do not want to receive a discerning voice, but would rather be heard with no interruption. (“But the one who prophesies speaks to people for edification, exhortation, and consolation.” 1 Cor 14:3)

Remind them of this, earnestly witnessing before the Master, not to wage verbal battles – which is useless – to the overthrowing of the hearers.
Do your utmost to present yourself approved to Elohim, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the Word of Truth.
But keep away from profane, empty babblings, for they go on to more wickedness,
and their word shall eat its way like gangrene. (2 Tim 2: 14-17 TS2009)

Do you see that – and their words shall eat its way like gangrene!!

Do not be workers of iniquity

Most who are seen as leaders and teachers do not want to be reminded of the many verses expressing Whom they are to reflect because it forces them to look in the mirror for too long. No religious sect will ever reach perfection – none. Nor will any individuals, while walking this earth. It is not God’s desire for us to “fake it until we make it”; we are to submit ourselves to Him as a drink offering, to be sanctified over and over again; enough to humbly walk in our anointing and callings, which may I remind you come from HIM. There are absolutely people in this walk who love Him with all of their heart, mind, and strength but it doesn’t seem true among the self-ordained speakers, teachers, and the few who leader. There is a lot of ego and haughtiness, anger, bitterness, and self-righteousness. All of which stem from some internal fear they have yet to be delivered of.

Do they understand that all they display, knowingly or not, trickles down to those whom they influence?
Take this passage to heart friends:
For if someone sees you, the one who has knowledge, dining in an idol’s temple, will his conscience, if he is weak, not be strengthened to eat things sacrificed to idols? For through your knowledge the one who is weak is ruined, the brother or sister for whose sake Christ died. And so, by sinning against the brothers and sisters and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ. Therefore, if food causes my brother to sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause my brother to sin.” (1 Cor 8:10-13

Do you understand that most of those seeking what you have, are people who are in some way spiritually weak, as those portrayed in Paul’s exhortation? How can anyone in good conscious take advantage of their brothers and sisters in Messiah that way, unless they simply care not for their souls?

Nothing gets a rise in my spirit man quicker than sitting in someone’s presence (or scrolling through social media) and witnessing beliefs that are riddled with fear, bitterness, and strife. (Friends, LET IT GO. Give it to God and let Him help you contend with and be rid of it!) That is not of The Father. Neither is the chaos, drama, and/or confusion that so many of you walk around in, expecting things to feel better in your soul. There is such a prominent spirit of confusion controlling people’s minds, that seems to go unnoticed, and it is disturbing the heart of The Father. (Please understand, that it is He who leads me to see all of this – trust that I wish to remain blind!) The short verse that constantly pops into my mind is ‘for God is not a God of confusion but of peace’.

What an assembly should resemble

A reminder that we are not to be workers of iniquity but a community built around Faith – in Yeshua and Yahweh (God the Father) – and should resemble the Love of The One who should be propelling you forth. We are each servants, and need to have servant-like hearts, with one job: to build the body up for His glory, not tear it down! Perhaps you have never had a loving faith community or the instruction of others, and it needs to be shown to you:

“Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.”

“And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.”

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”
(The above verses are found in Ephesians 4, emphasis my own.)

There is no ‘I’ in the Body of Messiah

Remember the old saying, “There is no I in team.” That saying holds even more truth in the body of Messiah! If you are one who teaches, preaches – or aspires to – I implore you, on behalf of The One who holds us each dear to his heart, to open your eyes and see, open your ears to hear what HIS voice alone is saying. Beware of what and who you allow to influence your thoughts and words. Honestly, we do not need more teachers, we need more servants.

“Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.” (Romans 12:16)

“Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:4)

“The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor, and life.” (Proverbs 22:4)

“Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.” (Matthew 23:12)

“The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, and before honor comes humility.” (Proverbs 15:33)
