As I drifted off to sleep last night, I recall hearing, at least twice, “[How] blessed are those who make peace!”
The dream
Last night’s slumber was not solid; I’d awaken from a very deep sleep, then fall back into it. Waking up this morning was a struggle and I realized why after recalling the dream I was having before I awoke: I kept placing birds into two separate holes cut into something that, at first, I couldn’t make out. There was shredded paper in the holes, covering the bottom. Every time I would place birds in, they would disappear. It was baffling me. I placed more birds (I later understood them to be small gray doves) into the holes and instead of leaving, this time I stayed. To my shock, I saw one of the birds fighting and trying to flap its wings then start to go underneath the shredded paper. I leapt into action, trying to save the bird, pulling it freedom; it was injured but alive.
A moment later, out from inside the object slithered a large python snake. I grabbed it, near its head, and stared into its face. Its mouth was wide-open with fangs exposed. Strangely, it did not put up a fight. I put it down and stayed still. The last thing I remember is something (not me) smashing its head. Then I began to wake up.
The verse
After waking, I looked at my Bible app; lo and behold, Matthew 5:9 was the verse of the day: “How blessed are those who make peace, for they will be called sons of God.” I knew this was not a coincidence. I began to seek the Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh to help me to interpret the dream. Below is what I received and friends, as usual, this is a warning to they whom call themselves Children of The Most Hight God, YHWH.
The dream’s interpretation
The doves represented divine messengers seeking safety from a tumultuous journey. The doves were being sent out as signs to those in the Faith but also to the world of God’s presence; they represent His messengers on earth trying to get through to people, trying to deliver peace (if you look to the creation story in Genesis 1 birds were created to swarm and fly – their job is to spread seeds across the earth, therefore they represent life). The Ruach/Spirit spoke to me of the dove that Noah had sent out 3 times (3 is the number for resurrection). When the dove first returned did so with nothing in hand, meaning there wasn’t life to be found on the earth. The birds in my dream were returning without the sprig of olive leaf as well, therefore, were retuning without finding fruit.
The object I was placing the birds into for safe keeping was a mattress. Yes, it seemed odd, until the Ruach explained it: the mattress symbolized how man is lying in bed with the python. They are in cahoots. And the snake represents the huge python spirit that is upon the earth trying to kill the message and messengers of the Holy One.
The python spirit is a mocking spirit and one that suffocates people. It comes upon us when we are dependent upon a person or institution for financial means or often when one is stuck in codependency. Right now, our country is under the thumb of both of these circumstances. The economy is bad, businesses shuttered and many have come to depend on the government for aid as we are under siege by this “plague.” Many are in a codependent relationship with the government and corporate America because as a country we’re being manipulated, beguiled and hung over a barrel.
Not only are Believers in Yeshua/Jesus being mocked and ridiculed, so is God. He is publicly mocked by leaders of our government by using His name in ways that are not of Him, nor do they honor Him. Just as Paul and Silas were mocked by the woman who followed them through a village, claiming they were great men of God – she was overcome with the python spirit due to being enslaved to earn money for others who were in the dark practices. This is the same issue we are seeing infiltrate our country – one that has been building for over a century and is now openly playing out before our eyes.
The python was stealing the doves while their keeper (or perhaps their shepherd) had his/her back turned. It was trying to crush their spirit (THE Spirit of Adonai upon the earth) so their messages could not be received. But, also, these same doves were being placed in bed with the python and this symbolizes confusion and deception, as in the ancient times when Adonai was trying to find people who would both allow their bondage to be broken and carry His message to the lost (both in the time of the Israelites and in the centuries after Yeshua/Jesus returned to his rightful place on the throne).
This is not only about Believers, it is also about those the Father is trying to reach but we (the Body of Yeshua/Christ) aren’t producing fruit. There are many reasons for this, but mostly it is fear, lack of trying and self-centeredness. You may not believe this message is for every person who may be reading it because I know there are many who are trying…but, if you’re not yielding fruit for your efforts (not seeing repentant hearts and people turning to the Lord, people not being delivered of strongholds) then I believe He is saying to you: Seek Me first; let Me lead you. Let the Ruach/Spirit be your voice instead of going about it incorrectly.
For those who aren’t trying – you are the Believers in bed with the python!
BE all you’re called to be
Later in the morning, I was given this message:
He is constantly at work in our midst brothers and sisters; do not slumber for naught for this is not the time to “sleep”!!
What was spoken to me about being a peace maker was regarding the peace within those of the Faith who not only have but exude His peace, who are able to stay neutral in all things that aren’t about the Kingdom.
This peace, like His love, we need to cover all people, situations and things with, so those who do not have it are drawn to it.
There are many Believers who do not contain that peace that passes all understanding.
We as a body/community are called to nurture and cover, not merely slap a prayer on it and go on.
Additionally, in Matthew 5, we are reminded of WHO we are to be and to WHOM we belong. I encourage you to meditate upon these verses. Allow them to penetrate your heart and motivate your heart to go out and be SALT and LIGHT:
“How blessed are those who make peace!
for they will be called sons of God.10 “How blessed are those who are persecuted
because they pursue righteousness!
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.11 “How blessed you are when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of vicious lies about you because you follow me! 12 Rejoice, be glad, because your reward in heaven is great — they persecuted the prophets before you in the same way.
13 “You are salt for the Land. But if salt becomes tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except being thrown out for people to trample on.
14 “You are light for the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Likewise, when people light a lamp, they don’t cover it with a bowl but put it on a lampstand, so that it shines for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
